Pippa had a desire to put something back into sport and society and became an athlete representative for her team while competing. She took this to a new level when she became Para Archery Athlete Representative for World Archery and has since, through a combination of training and different roles, become a highly experienced non executive director.
She has been Chair of Disability Sport Wales and is currently the Vice-Chair of both UK Anti Doping and Sport Wales. Hoping to expand physical activity to a broader base of people, she is an Independent Board Member of Aneurin Bevan NHS Health Board and has worked at Board level with Archery GB, World Archery and World Archery Europe.
She has worked with several sports on Board performance and brings a blend of understanding around equity and diversity as well as the principles of good governance. She has worked with dysfunctional Boards and as a governance and appraisal lead she believes that good Board behaviour leads to good governance. She is able to provide consultancy and training services on a bespoke basis - please contact her with any requirements that you may have in improving the performance of your Board, from meeting skills to better Board papers.
