Pippa had a desire to put something back into sport and society and became an athlete representative for her team while competing. She took this to a new level when she became Para Archery Athlete Representative for World Archery and has since, through a combination of training and different roles, become a highly experienced non executive director.
She has been Chair of Disability Sport Wales and Vice-Chair of both UK Anti Doping and Sport Wales. In addition she is the Vice Chair of a University Health Board and has worked at Board level with Archery GB, World Archery and World Archery Europe. She has worked with several sports on Board performance and brings a blend of understanding around equity and diversity as well as the principles of good governance. She has worked with dysfunctional Boards and as a governance and appraisal lead she believes that good Board behaviour leads to good governance. |
